Birthday fun

We started out the birthday week with a bang by going to Fuji.

Max and Ava hid from the fire.

Planning school

Make no bones about it, I’m sitting down to officially plan school next year for 8 peeps. I catch myself feeling as if I’m making life or death decisions.

Deep cleansing breaths.

I will fail my children in many many places. Probably should start saving for therapy for them, but I’m so thankful God knows all of this.

I need to be faithful to teach them about God, show them Jesus with my actions, and love them as a child of the one true King.

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive and inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

Colossians 3:23-24

These two crazy kids helped to move Blessings back into her dorm.

We had our friends up from the cities. 16 kids and 2 moms.

I was asked at Aldi if I owned a restaurant. Well kind of….I guess if you buy 20 lbs of butter, it’s a fair question.

Tomato basil soup for the winter.  We had to move to larger containers – I never imagine icecream pails would be a hot commodity.

Grace and crew have been baking up a storm the past few days.

5.1K,1K and 50 yard dash

We trekked up to Duluth yesterday to participate in the Festival 5.1K race.  Our brother-in-law and family did a fantastic job organizing the race.

Silas and Carl ran 5.1K

Lydia, Adie, Silas, Titus, Jack ran 1K

Max and Jack ran the 50 yard dash

Silas and Cousin Della were neck and neck the whole race.  Silas edge her out by a hair at the finish line. They actually got the same time of 28.34.

We are super proud of all the runners who braved the rain and the cold.
