Birthday request

I know that my birthday is two months away and I know that I usually don’t for anything, but this year I think I need a Leatherman for my purse.

Raising boys requires different tools that raising girls. Little girls you make sure that you have bandaids, nail clippers, and chapstick. Boys? Bandaids, wet wipes and a Leatherman. I have thought to myself on two different occasions this week, “Man, a multipurpose tool would come in handy right about now.”

I have been having a grand time with these two rascals today.  It reminds me of the days when Grace and Lydia were little.  They would play for hours together and hardly ever fight.  Jack and Max only had a few scuffles but then they were strapped in the cart at Home Depot  and little boys do much better if they can’t touch each other.

5 Kids to Bible Camp

We dropped off five big kids to bible camp tonight. 4/5 were very excited to go. The 1/5 who wasn’t excited will change his mind once he knows what to expect. He was told about 100 times what to expect, but he needs to experience it for himself before he actually gets it.

The wee little boys picked up a little snack on the way home. They were a hoot the whole time.

St. Cloud Parade

Lydia, Adie, Silas and Titus rode unicycle today in the St Cloud Parade.

I was a proud Momma!

Max and Jack trying to be patient.

We finished VBS this week. Another great year for everyone.

McFarland USA

McFarland USA is one of my new favorite movies.  The kids absolutely loved it tonight. I’m grateful I bought the DVD because I have a feeling that this will be a new favorite road trip movie.
