22 hours away

Carl and I were able to sneak away for 22 hours of sheer fun. Yes we worked on work and life, but it was so nice to have so much time of uninterrupted peace.  Grandpa and Grandma held down the fort with Nana and Papa helping out when they were available.  I am pretty sure everyone had a great time.

I am grateful for the rest.

And time with my husband, whom I love more and more with each passing year.

We all went out to Fuji after Grace’s spelling bee to celebrate Jack and Adie’s birthday. Nana and Papa left before we took the picture.

Spelling bee

Grace participated in a spelling bee today.

Ski race

Yesterday the Larsen tribe braved the weather and went to the Sons of Norway ski race. They all went out and skied the best they could and earned a medal.

It was blow me down windy with white out conditions but they were super sports about it. Max’s favorite spot was in the warming house eating krumkaka.
