New paddle board was a huge hit with everyone.

This what fishing with nets looks like. 20120818-215310.jpg

I even had a turn with Jack being my co-captain.

He reminds me of Adie

There are many ways Jack reminds me of Adie, but lately staying up late and sleeping in my bed are two of the top ones.

Here’s just a few to capture tonight’s funnies. He was pretending to sleep in the one with his eyes closed.

Just to note that it is 10:39 pm and he leaned over and gave a big smooch on the lips and proceeded to say, “ewe!”

14 hours

That is how long he slept.

You drop everything for…

A friend who is adopting.

She needed a referral from me for her adoption in Uganda.

I needed to rewrite it, notarize it and overnight it to her.

All within an hour.

I missed the guarantee over night by 2o minutes.  I am praying that it still gets there anyways.

I took the triplets with me and Grace and Lydia babysat Jack and Max at home. (Daddy was working in the basement.) They did a great job, by the way.

I think Adie, Silas and Titus asked about 397 questions while we were out.  It was almost comical to listen to them chatter the whole entire time.

Ah, it was a joy to rush around crazy this afternoon so that, Lord willing, soon there will be one less orphan.
